Emma Quinn

Tessitura Ticketing and CRM Manager

Emma kicked off her career in Adelaide working as an employee of the ticketing service provider for the 2007 WOMADelaide festival. That same role brought experience with Adelaide’s Tour Down Under, Classic Adelaide and the Royal Adelaide Show. In 2008 Emma moved to Melbourne where she worked with Next Wave Arts Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival and for over 9 years, Malthouse Theatre.

In her time with Malthouse Theatre, Emma progressed from Ticketing Coordinator to Ticketing Manager to CRM & Ticketing Manager. She lead the box office team through the delivery of many operational changes and audience development projects, the most transformative being the implementation of CRM and Ticketing system Tessitura.

In 2016 Emma returned to Adelaide and worked with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra to increase their return on investment in Tessitura by advising on a custom reporting and data analysis structure. She then joined the marketing team and assisted the Customer Service Manager with bringing box office operations in house, driving an immediate reduction in associated ticketing costs and an increase in the capture of complete and accurate sales data.

Emma was recruited by State Theatre Company South Australia (STCSA) in 2018 to implement Tessitura and soon after the project was complete, supported the box office, marketing and development teams through the operational pivots that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. The implementation of Tessitura allowed STCSA to bring their subscription and single ticketing operations in house. Emma delivered a customer focused and data driven sales platform and allowed STCSA to connect with their audiences in new ways.

In 2023 Emma joined Arts Projects Australia (APA) to implement Tessitura and is currently job sharing between APA and UKARIA running multiple implementations.
