New program elements included the introduction of The Electrolounge - a nightly program of live electronic music from local Adelaide artists in Speakers’ Corner, prior to the late night DJ sets.
Highlights: Arrested Development, Hanggai, Pokey La Farge, and Carminho. David Michalek’s stunning Slow Dancing giant projection and performance installation towered through the pines.
Emel Mathlouthi, Rachid Taha, and The Balanescu Quartet also provided some fond WOMAD memories!
