WOMAD Aotearoa 2005

WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) Aotearoa New Zealand is a premier multi-day festival celebrating diverse global sound, culture, and performance at Brooklands Park and the TSB Bowl of Brooklands in New Plymouth.
 
Since 1997, Arts Projects Australia has co-curated and delivered the international lineup for WOMAD New Zealand. Firstly, in Auckland’s Western Springs 1997 and AOTEA Square 1997, before moving to Taranaki in partnership with the Taranaki Arts Festival Trust (TAFT) biennially from 2003–2007 then annually from 2008, Arts Projects Australia leverages its extensive global network to bring renowned world music icons, emerging international talent, and diverse cultural performers to New Zealand audiences year after year.
