Philippe Genty's 'Lands End' wins Helpmann Award!

Monday 27th July saw the Sydney Opera House fill for the 9th annual Helpmann Awards for Live Entertainment.

Arts Projects Australia were nominated for Philippe Genty's 'Lands End' production in the category of Best Visual or Physical Theatre Production. Up against some of Australia's best including NICA, CircusOz and Lunchbox Theatrical Productions, 'Lands End' was the clear favourite and was awarded this notable prize.

Arts Projects Australia are incredibly proud to accept the award for the tour which visited Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. This critically acclaimed work from the master Philippe Genty and the companies intriguing mix of puppetry, illusion, mime and dance was an incredible spectacle and appreciated by audiences in every city.

Arts Projects Australia would like to thank and congratulate all those involved with bringing this spectacular company to our shores and hopefully we will see them back in Australia in the not too distant future!
